Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) is a governmental entity that manages the administration, directives and operations of Djibouti’s ports, Free Zones, Special Economic Zones and many other main infrastructures.
DPFZA is mandated to:
– Promote the Djibouti Ports & Free Zones as a commercial and logistic platform;
– Establish a business friendly environment with a business oriented legal framework
– Regulate the ports and free zones
– Invest on infrastructure, transportation and energy through its investment arm GHIH (Great Horn Investment Holding)
Djibouti is at the center of global trade routes and on two of the three busiest shipping routes in the world. Its location connects Africa to Asia, Europe and America.
