Chair of IAPH Finance and Audit Committee appointed

Eranda Kotelawala, Chief Executive Officer, Solomon Islands Ports Authority, was appointed by the IAPH Board at its online meeting held on 8 September, as Chair of IAPH Finance and Audit Committee, an internal committee of IAPH mandated to monitor and examine the financial status of the association for its smooth, undisrupted and sustainable operation. On 21 July, the IAPH Board appointed Eranda Kotelawala, Chief Executive Officer at Solomon Islands Ports Authority, and Shinsuke Ito, President of Yokohama Port Corporation,as members of the IAPH Finance and Audit Committee. This is an internal committee of IAPH mandated to monitor and examine the financial status of the association for its smooth, undisrupted and sustainable operation. We warmly welcome Eranda and Shinsuke onboard.

IAPH presents condolences to Port of Beirut

 Following the lethal explosion at the port of Beirut last Monday, IAPH President Santiago Garcia Milà wrote to Hassan Kraytem, President Director General of the port authority, expressing condolences and offering to help the port get through this difficult period.
